Still not going out tonight, but it’s nice not to feel so… awful.
Doctor says it isn’t strep, which is odd, because she said I had white junk all over my tonsils and my glands are swollen.
Mags says the only throat infection antibiotics will help is strep.
So it’s either my mind making me feel...

As much as I hate the winter, it’s beautiful to watch from a cozy nook.
I’m awake because I simply cannot sleep anymore.
I’ve more or less been sleeping for the past 24 hours.
I’m pretty sure there’s white stuff on my tonsils.

It feels extremely odd to not have my engagement ring.
Doing normal things: putting on a sweater, drying my hands, even letting my my thumb run over my ring finger - all reminds me it isn’t there.
Even the indentation is still there around my finger.
I had to drop it off yesterday for its six-month inspection. Normally this wouldn’t require separation, but we were not wealthy enough...
